Dr. Alissa Chapman was born and raised in Corpus Christi. She graduated from Richard King High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Trinity University. While attending Trinity, she became interested in Dentistry when she began assisting an Orthodontist part-time. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio- School of Dentistry.
Dr. Chapman was a devoted athlete throughout her childhood, and she continues to enjoy running, kickboxing, and playing basketball and tennis. She also loves to read and cook. She loves working with children and young adults and feels blessed to have a place at Kennedy Dental Care. She is extremely excited to be back in her hometown where she can take an active part in her community.
Dr. Annie is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School. She was born and raised in Hondo, TX where she graduated from Hondo High School, and then went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Biology from Southwest Texas State University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society.
Dr. Annie is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is very active in her community and her church. She is married to Dr. John DeKoch, and has one son, Mac.
Dr. Nancy Coll studied dentistry at a French University in Montreal, Canada. After graduating, she moved to the beautiful Northeast territories for ten years. Dr. Nancy is down to earth, enthusiastic and strives to treat each patient with kindness and respect. She loves working with children and will do her best to ensure your child's experience at the dentist is a great one. She is thrilled for this new adventure with Kennedy Dental Care and looks forward to meeting you.
Dr. Veena Raj graduated from Boston University-Henry M Goldman School of Dentistry in 2003. She has practiced general, pediatric, and cosmetic dentistry in various parts of the United States and recently moved to Corpus Christi, TX. She is a member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She enjoys working with her patients and getting to know them.
In her spare time, Dr. Veena enjoys running, playing tennis, travelling, and painting. She also loves to spend time with her husband, two kids, and their dog.
Dr. Hernandez, also known as "Dr. Jon," is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. A native of Houston, Dr. Jon is a graduate of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas A&M – College Station and his Master of Medical Science degree from Mississippi College. After his completing his Master’s degree he returned to Houston to work in pharmaceutical research before eventually going back to school to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He is involved in Dental organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Jon is married to his college sweetheart and they are blessed with one daughter. He grew up visiting the area annually and in his free time, he enjoys rediscovering Corpus Christi with his family. They love getting involved with their local church community and enjoying the outdoor activities Corpus Christi has to offer. He loves learning the guitar, playing video games, fishing, playing board games, rooting for the Aggies, and most of all, spending time with his family.
